Plain-English summary of how we handle school and student data. Last updated 11 June 2026.
LadderUp processes the data your school provides to run the service: NAPLAN results your school uploads (student names, year levels, item responses and scores), staff and parent account details (name, email, role), and usage data generated by practice (questions attempted, results, progress).
We do not collect data from students beyond their practice activity, and we never use school or student data for advertising or sell it to anyone.
All school and student data is stored in Australia (Sydney region, AWS ap-southeast-2, operated through Supabase). Application hosting is provided by Vercel.
Every school is isolated at the database level (row-level security). Staff can only access their own school; teachers and learning support see only the classes and subjects their school assigns them; parents see only their own child; students see only themselves.
LadderUp operates the platform and accesses school data only to provide support, never for any other purpose.
Your school can request a full export of its data, or complete deletion, at any time by emailing us. We action requests promptly and confirm when deletion is complete.
